Cybersecurity Law of the People's Republic of China (Revision 2025)

Abstract

The Cybersecurity Law of the People's Republic of China was adopted at the 24th session of the Standing Committee of the 12th National People's Congress on 7 November 2016. It was subsequently amended in accordance with the decision of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress to amend the Cybersecurity Law of the People's Republic of China, which was adopted at the 18th session of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress on 28 October 2025.
